Deadly Music of Death - Volume 1

A lot of effort has gone into the music from DROD.  Over the years players have come to be fans of the music as well as the game.  I won't try to describe the music or convince you that it's good.  For that, I recommend you simply try out the free DROD: Journey to Rooted Hold demo where you can hear several songs from the CD to form your own opinion.

This first volume contains compositions by Erik Hermansen, who wrote the majority of music in the DROD games.  The CD is divided into two parts: part 1 contains 9 tracks from DROD: Journey to Rooted Hold, and part 2 contains another 9 tracks from DROD: Architects' Edition.  Only full-length songs were used--not brief musical clips for events such as winning a level.  The tracks are arranged in roughly chronological order as you would hear them while playing the DROD games, but some changes have been made to create a pleasing mix.

The CD is attractively packaged in a slim jewel case with cover illustration, track listing, and composer notes.  It will be a fine keepsake from your travels beneath the Eighth!
